I.S.T. on course for growth

Jun 8, 2021

“Corona was and is a very big challenge for many companies in our industry, especially with such a high proportion of international supplies as it is with us. But we made the best use of this time to round off our product range, to strengthen our sales team and to reposition ourselves.” says Holm Reisinger, sales manager and member of the management team.

CEO Jörg Vogt, who founded the company as a small trading company in his own apartment 23 years ago, would never have thought that his company would become one of the leading providers in the industry. I.S.T. is today the only provider that offers the complete range of products in the field of pipe and sewer renovation. The range includes self-made consumables such as inliners, calibration hoses, top hat material and resins, its own milling robots and UV/LED systems for house connections as well as for large profiles up to DN 2000. We even offer two mobile UV/LED systems for light curing in property drainage pipes and small main channels. The UV resins and liners used, developed in-house, are also unique and have been proven to bond with the old pipe.

Spray technology, sewer TV inspection systems, house connection robots by Dancutter and Picote cleaning tools complete the extensive product portfolio. To underline this, the company’s latest catalog is also called “One-Stop-Shop”.

“Not only the good products, but also the closeness to our customers and the professional support through to technical training are extremely important to us and make the difference. We have therefore restructured the sales areas, strengthened the application technology department and expanded the service area. With a sales and marketing team of 10, no customer will have to wait long for us” reports Reisinger confidently.

The management team is particularly proud of the cohesion in the workforce and the flexibility of their team during the corona crisis. “We were hit hard with illnesses, but thanks to the prudence and sense of responsibility of the employees, production never came to a standstill” Vogt praised the entire I.S.T. team.

It is particularly gratifying, Vogt continues, that all of these restructuring measures and the team spirit of the workforce are already bearing fruit. The first quarter of 2021 is the most successful first quarter in the company’s entire history.

The worldwide subsidiaries in North and South America, Scandinavia, Spain and China as well as the approx. 30 dealers around the globe also contributed to the success.

With the return to normal, the I.S.T. to become more active internationally again and to be more present at trade fairs. However, the planned in-house exhibition in the company’s own halls in autumn will be an important start. “Here we will organize a really great event with new products and all of our suppliers for all trade fair-hungry customers and interested parties. The focus is on the new e-cutter and new liner products and can then be examined very carefully by all guests” says Holm Reisinger happily.

This event, which will be announced via the newsletter and the website, should be noted quickly.
